St. Andrews Primary School in Clayton Victoria contracted Grass Solutions Pty Ltd to upgrade their AFL field to a ‘Multi-Sports Arena’, comprising of a two lane running track, cricket pitch, full size AFL field, hopscotch and four square courts. The reason for the upgrade was due to the fact the field had become dusty and un-comprising in Summer, muddy in the Winter months and generally unsafe with pot holes and divets caused from over-use and weather. Synthetic grass selected – Playon 37mm. The concrete cricket pitch was built from scratch. Cricket surface employed – Shield 9mm ideal for clubs and schools wearing as double latex backed. Installed in two weeks including base work preparation.
